Sydney regional publisher Local Publishing Co has launched a new print magazine called Local Paddo, featuring businesses located in the suburb of Paddington.
Publisher and Editor Elizabeth Meryment said in a LinkedIn post that the new Local Paddo magazine has grown out of its flagship monthly publication, Local East, a lifestyle magazine for the eastern suburbs of Sydney that was established in 2018.
“Lots of local businesses felt they would love to be involved in our regular magazines but asked for something even more niche. So we created it. It’s 68 pages, beautiful stock, gorgeous design, lots of real stories and generally lovely,” Ms Meryment said.
Local Publishing Co also produces the lifestyle magazine, Local North, which features food, travel, style, people and real estate in Sydney’s northern suburbs.
Local Publishing Co’s magazines are circulated around homes and cafes across the suburbs that they service.
