Digital travel publisher We Are Explorers has collaborated with Destination NSW on a multi-channel digital campaign to encourage readers to map out their ultimate road trip.
The We Are Explorers campaign, called ‘What Type Of Road Tripper Are You?, includes an interactive quiz where readers determine their road trip persona, together with a series of customised itineraries that match their personality.
Launched on 7 April, the itineraries offer an immersive digital experience through a new integration with Alpaca Maps, industry leaders in the innovative display of online maps.
“We’re really excited to try something new with this destination campaign. We’ve focused on offering the best possible experience for our readers with an ultimate goal to encourage dispersed travel that supports NSW’s tourism industry,” said Henry Brydon, Founder of We Are Explorers.
The stunning diversity of the state can be seen through the featured road trips, including the Kosciuszko Alpine Way to the south, the Darling River Run to the west and the Rainforest Way to the north.
The We Are Explorers team said that the campaign has been designed to encourage a fun, safe experience for travellers while road trips remain the safest way to travel thanks to the unpredictability of COVID-19.
