Bunnings Magazine wins best print branded content at APAC content marketing awards

Bunnings Magazine has been named the Best Use of Branded Content – Print at The APAC Content Marketing Awards, held at the 2021 Content Marketing Summit Asia.

Bunnings Magazine is published by Medium Rare Content Agency on behalf of Bunnings. It is Australia’s third most widely read free magazine, with an average issue print readership of 1,550,000 (March 2021). The magazine has experienced significant reader growth, increasing issue readership by 32.5 per cent compared to March 2020 results. 

Bunnings Magazine launched after Bunnings engaged Medium Rare to create a content marketing strategy that bridged the hardware brand’s well-known catalogues and wealth of DIY resources and information. The magazine was developed as a way to inspire customers to update, maintain and renovate their homes and gardens.

To create the magazine’s content pillars, Medium Rare combined Bunnings customer purchase data and search insights in the DIY space.

Medium Rare also takes a multichannel approach to Bunnings Magazine editorial, creating content that integrates with Bunnings’ broader marketing mix across e-newsletters, social, catalogues and podcasts. 

Medium Rare recognised as APAC Content Marketing Agency of the Year 

Medium Rare was also named Content Marketing Agency of the Year across the Asia-Pacific region for the second time running. 

In total, Medium Rare’s teams and clients were also recognised with a total of six awards
