Digital publishing platform enters partnership to enhance in-flight magazine and online shopping experience

e-Mersion Media and Retail inMotion have partnered to expand the provision of digital content into the international airline and rail markets, geared to drive consumer interaction with brands and in-flight magazine advertisements. 

Australian-based digital publishing platform e-Mersion Media has signed a three-year partnership with Retail inMotion, a provider of retail and technology solutions for airlines. The partnership will focus on expanding the digital content available to airline and rail travelers. 

e-mersion.media provides magazine digitisation solutions with the goal of creating an “immersive experience”, enhancing content and building engagement. Its bespoke platforms provide advertising opportunities complete with end-to-end usage, engagement tracking, and user data analytics.

Within the context of the aviation and travel sector, this includes providing a contactless, digital on-board experience for passengers where they can access a suite of services via their mobile device that not only includes inflight magazine and entertainment, but also the opportunity to purchase duty-free items along with food and beverage, throughout the flight at their leisure.

In August, e-Mersion Media and The CEO Magazine announced they were teaming up to release a fully interaftive digital version of the magazine’s August print edition. 

The August edition of The CEO Magazine is available to download on the Apple App Store for all iOS devices and on the Google Play Store.
