Nathan Duff, Publisher of Retromotive Magazine, has launched Engage4x4, a new monthly magazine about all wheel drive vehicles.
Engage 4×4 is described as a “unique eye-catching, high-quality magazine” that “intuitively taps into the zeitgeist’s burgeoning all-wheel-drive-as-a-classic movement”.
The magazine celebrates the resurrection and reimagination of iconic 4x4s, investigates the latest traction devices, and covers stories on the people that drive and love the vehicles.
“This epic magazine is all about the ride, the destination and the experience,” the website states.
Duff, a photographer, is known for creating visually appealing publications, with classic car magazine Retromotive receiving recognition in 2020 as a finalist in the Mumbrella Publish 2020 Awards: Magazine Cover of the Year category.
His magazines have the hallmark of clean, uncluttered layout which aims to strip everything back to reveal an intimate journey through beautiful imagery and engaging stories. This is replicated over the magazines’ digital platforms, highlighting the beautiful automotive photography that subscribers are used to seeing in the print magazines.
“I want the website to reflect the look and feel of the magazine – an experience that isn’t too loud without other elements vying for your attention,” Duff told the Targeted Media Services Network last year.
In addition to launching Engage4x4, Duff has been busy with his flagship Retromotive brand. He recently launched an app, secured distribution in Barnes and Noble in the US, and acquired an Instagram account with over 180,000 followers.
Like Retromotive, Engage4x4 will be distributed through Barnes and Nobel, as well as Books a Million and Indigo in North America, and WH Smiths travel, WH Smiths High Street and McColls in the UK.
