Super Niche (Almost) Live

FREE virtual event for niche magazine publishers to troubleshoot COVID-19 challenges

US-based niche publishing services and event company Niche Media is offering its annual conference for niche magazine publishers, Super Niche, as a free virtual event – Super Niche (Almost) Live.

Super Niche is designed to educate, inspire and connect niche magazine publishers to drive revenue and grow their brand. Content includes publishing strategies, events, audience development, and sales techniques.

This year’s virtual event specifically aims to discuss how to launch quick revenue ideas to survive a downturn, and long-term strategies to make sure you come out ahead on the other side.

The free virtual event will be held on 14-15 April between 10am and 5pm US Eastern Time (see Australian time zone converter), and will include a combination of live sessions and pre-recorded presentations. All live sessions will be recorded so they can be accessed after streaming.

The event program includes:

  • Two Live Niche Keynotes with Drew Davis (Monumental Shift) and Wendy Clark (Birdwatcher’s Digest), including question time.
  • Managing Your Business During COVID-19: Live panel with audience Q&A
  • 15+ recorded sessions on publisher strategy, events, audience development and ad sales.

Drew Davis will discuss how to look at your brand “backwards” to make the changes that find fresh audiences and new revenue opportunities. Timely strategy during the current business shift.

Wendy Clark will explain the culture, strategy, and gumption that expanded a core magazine (with a team of 13) into a resource-packed website, blog, podcast, events, online retail and multimedia niche brand. Plus chat about how her team is handling COVID-19 impacts.

Regular Niche Publishing Network contributor Ryan Dohrn will also be presenting.

“We know you are pivoting to manage advertiser doubts, audience uncertainty, and business turbulence not seen before. We want to help you survive this challenge, and set plans in motion for your next success,” said Niche Events General Manager Kristi Dougherty.

“We’ve taken our most in-demand content from the live Super Niche event, and created a virtual conference you can attend right from your home office – or from your couch, no judgement here.”

Originally scheduled to be held on 23-25 March 2020 in San Antonio, Texas, the Super Niche event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration to the virtual event is free, and is suitable for all niche magazine publishers and their teams, digital content creators, and media professionals.
